Proven Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics Veteran Joins ESRG Commercial Team
Virginia Beach, VA – August 25, 2008 – ESRG, the US Navy OEM for surface fleet remote monitoring systems, announced today that Steven Tibbetts has joined the company in the role of Director of Business Development. Steven will focus on developing strategic technology partnerships, working with resellers, and establishing a network of Certified Systems Integrators for the Ostia Product Suite.
Steven brings over 15 years of Application Engineering experience to ESRG. Previously, Steven was the Application Engineering Manager of GE Energy’s Performance & Reliability Center where he led the development of the strategy and vision for all products within GE Energy’s Monitoring & Diagnostics Center. Steven joined GE Energy as a result of its acquisition of IDAX Incorporated in 2001 where he spent five years in field and application engineering roles implementing remote monitoring solutions and developing rule sets for Power Generation customers.
Since ESRG’s founding in 2000 as the data analytics leader for the US Navy surface fleet remote monitoring program, the fleet-wide service of IPAR and EPAR reports has grown tremendously. US Navy fleet support teams have since turned to ESRG for their technology and expertise in reporting, dashboards, data integration and data analysis as well their ability to utilize in-house subject matter experts to write diagnostic and anomaly detection rules. ESRG now offers remote monitoring products for the commercial sector which provide the same flexibility, cost saving and efficiency benefits and reporting capabilities.
“The US Navy Condition Based Maintenance Team and the fleet they support has received substantial cost savings, efficiency and reliability benefits from working with ESRG over the last 8 years, and these benefits are now available to the commercial sector through our industry specific commercial products” said Ken Krooner, CEO for ESRG. “Steven has the vision and experience to lead our commercial technology business. We are excited to have him on the team.”
