ESRG LLC has immediate requirement for a Project Manager with US Navy Combatant Ship HM&E operations and maintenance engineering and logistic experience. This is a new position. The successful candidate will lead the team developing and integrating technology solutions for US Navy shipboard systems and equipment operational decision support and enterprise maintenance engineering processes.
Working independently and with a system integration team, responsibilities include: Provides engineering assistance and knowledge to the design of systems, components, structures, and processes. Collects and analyzes technical data for design or feasibility studies. Evaluates performance and life-cycle operational requirements and develops engineering design to meet customer requirements. Prepares layouts and specifications; reviews design proposals and drawings; and assures that specifications meet performance requirements. Provides engineering analysis and recommendations to the development of technical specifications, requisition and bid documents, inspection and testing requirements, etc., to area of responsibility. Assists in the analysis and resolution of design and production issues. Assists in planning of testing operations. Evaluates and prepares test program policies and procedures to effectively test and control aviation maintenance systems and components; ensuring successful integration of the test program with production activities. Plans and prepares test procedures, which contain testing instructions, requirements and sequences, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, military specifications, system diagrams, equipment drawings, etc. Monitors the performance of tests and provides engineering expertise to the identification and resolution of system operational issues. Analyzes test data and applies engineering expertise to determine operational conditions and design appropriateness. Works collaboratively with design engineers to resolve design issues. Provides on-site resolution of engineering problems encountered during installation and implementation. Audits work-in-progress and performs related studies to ensure that predetermined engineering/design specifications are met. Prepares estimates for material, equipment and labor relative to assigned projects. Prepares status and documentation reports containing clear and concise documentation that tested components and systems perform in the required manner.
